About boot Crowns

Boot Crowns are a quick and easy way for a rider to customize any tall English riding boot for a fraction of the cost or commitment of an expensive Custom Boot.

• They stay in place when riding; no matter your discipline.  secured by a suede lining, a clip and extra sticky Velcro.

• Boot Crowns can add an inch of height to boots that may have dropped.

• Add the fashionable Spanish top to an older beloved pair of boots.

How do Boot Crowns stay on?

In the same way full seat breeches use suede to assist in a secure seat, Boot Crowns are lined with suede to prevent twist.  They have an inside clip that attaches to the top of your boot to keep them flush to the boot.  They are then fastened securely around your leg with high quality Velcro.

Do they move or shift while I'm riding?

Boot Crowns have been tested by Dressage Riders, Eventers and Jumpers who have told us they've forgotten they were even on.

How do I know if they will fit? Do they come in sizes?

Measure the circumfrence around your knee, where you feel the bone, on the outside of your leg with your boots ON.   You want some degree of overlap, to make sure they stay secured.  We recommend you go for the XL if that measurement is over 17 inches.  Our most popular Boot Crowns come in a Standard and an XL,  so they fit nearly every rider (not all styles are yet available in a larger size).

Can I compete in rated shows wearing Boot Crowns?

YES!  The USEF has ruled they do not violate any current rules.  As we introduce our product more internationally, we will be seeking the official approval of that regions Governing body.

Do you take custom orders?

We love custom orders!  If you provide the outer leather material, we can do a custom order with your leather for no additional costs with turnaround time of two to three weeks. We need approximately 2 to 3 square feet of leather.  Fun, unique smaller pieces of leather are available on  online shopping sites , such as Etsy or E-Bay or at leather and craft stores.  

If you'd ike to change the color of the rhinestones, we can do that.  If you'd like to add rhinestones to an existing style that currently does not have stones, we can do that too! We also do team, farm or school logos. Contact us for more information.

How did you come up with this unique idea?

One of our founders purchased custom boots at a World Cup Competition.  The boot maker asked what "boot top" option she wanted.  She worried about deciding on a top design and still being committed to it two or three years out.  We asked the  boot maker if he could do a topper that was interchangeable; but he didn't offer it.  Hence, the idea was born.  Many meetings and design changes later, a patent pending idea was born.

We ship to any address that can be reached via United States Postal Service, Fedex or DHL.  We have shipped to Europe, Australia, United Kingdom, Canada and South Africa.  Shipping is free in the continnetal U.S.  Additional shipping applicable on international orders, Alaska and Hawaii.
